REACT / Team Management

About the Role

Martinez Immigration is seeking a REACT / Team Management professional to oversee case progress, team accountability, and high-level case execution across multiple legal teams. This role combines advanced paralegal expertise with management skills, ensuring that team’s cases move efficiently, deadlines are met, and quality standards are consistently upheld.

This position is ideal for a highly experienced immigration professional who can lead by example, audit casework, support attorneys, and guide teams through complex family-based, humanitarian, and removal defense matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage active caseloads across multiple teams, ensuring consistent progress and adherence to firm standards.
  • Conduct scheduled case audits, review case status (active vs. inactive), and identify delays or red flags requiring immediate action.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure all filings, communications, and deliverables are completed timely.
  • Track and update case progress metrics, including internal percentages and reporting tools (Monday).
  • Maintain visibility on all client communication and ensure accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness across teams.
  • Review and coordinate client file requests as needed.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on complex case types, including family-based petitions, waivers, EOIR matters, humanitarian cases, and nonimmigrant visas.
  • Support attorneys with case strategy execution, documentation review, and preparation.
  • Stay informed on immigration law updates and regulatory changes, ensuring teams are aligned with current requirements and best practices.
  • Act as a point of escalation for case issues, workflow inefficiencies, and team performance concerns.
  • Drive accountability across teams by reinforcing procedures, improving workflows, and maintaining high standards of organization and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of immigration law experience with strong exposure to both family-based and removal defense (EOIR) cases.
  • Extensive experience handling cases such as I-130, I-485, I-601, I-601A, I-212, asylum, U visas, T visas, N-400, waivers, cancellation of removal, parole, and consular processing (NVC).
  • Experience with employment-based matters (PERM, EB2, EB3, H1B, E2, L, P, TN) is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to independently manage and review complex filings from start to finish.
  • Proven experience in team oversight, case auditing, or leadership within a legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of case management systems, document organization, and reporting.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Docketwise, Monday, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must have reliable internet, computer, and ability to work full-time during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST).
